Phyllis Ann Kooistra

Kooistra, Phyllis Ann Phyllis Ann (Homrich) Kooistra, age 51, of Jenison, was peacefully called home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, February 15, 2015.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Kooistra; mother, Audrey Homrich; and sister-in-law, Connie Courtright.  She is survived by her children, Barry Kooistra, Miranda and Mustafa Yumak; grandson, Altai Yumak; father, Phillip Homrich; mother-in-law, Jeanette Bailey; sisters, Cindy and Jerry Bussis, Donna and Jeff Huffman, Janie and Rob Kuhn, Kathy Blades, Lisa and Mark Millar; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Courtright, Gloria and Bill Medendorp, Kurt Kooistra, Karen and Phil Robbennolt, Wayne and Cheryl Kooistra; and loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews.  A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM at The Wyoming Moose Lodge, 2630 Burlingame Avenue, Wyoming.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Phyllis’ name are asked to consider the needs of the family.
