Paula Ruiz

Paula Ruiz, age 76, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Paula was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. She was blessed with the gift of hospitality and was known for her generous compassion and the many delicious meals she would cook. She was active at her church for many years, serving with her gift of music. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and sang in the choir. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Miguel Ruiz; her children, Felix Hernandez, German Ruiz, Miguel Jr. Ruiz, and Rosemary Ruiz; her grandchildren, Felix Jr., Joshua, Felicia, Malina, Cira, Adyaneez, Nayleen, Angel; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Maria Rodriguez, Juanita Cruz, Carlos Cruz, Andres Cruz, Domingo Cruz, Johnny Cruz, Manuel Cruz; many loving extended family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 225 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, August 18 from 6-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
