Paul Oostendorp

Paul Edward Oostendorp, age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Paul was born in Holland, Michigan, on June 28, 1944, to Edward and Geraldine Oostendorp. He attended Holland Christian High School, Calvin University, and Davenport University and had a successful career in accounting. Paul enjoyed gardening and golfing and had the opportunity to play golf at many fine courses around the country. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy (Sayen) Oostendorp; and his parents, Edward and Geraldine Oostendorp. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Lori Searl; stepson, Rick (Kim) Sayen; step grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Murray and Justin (Brittani) Searl; step great-grandchildren, Aaron, Conner, and Evelyn Murray; several cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions in Paul’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice.
