
Paul Dennis Slusarczyk, age 77, of Wyoming passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Eleanore Slusarczyk; brother, Gary, and sister, Pamela. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 45 years, Sharon; daughters, Rachel (Jim Duignan), Mary (Keith Jenkins), Anna (John Fuller III), Alison (David Grochowalski III); brothers-in-law, Tim, John and Ron (Grub), nieces, nephews, and friends. Paul was devoted to his family and adored his four daughters. He proudly served in the US Army with the First Airborne Cavalry in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. His military decorations include The Air Medal. He was a Beta Alpha Psi honors graduate of DePaul University. Paul enjoyed many national and international business development projects, including Waste Management and Blockbuster Video. He was a fun-loving, larger-than-life man who was “Dad” to everyone. Paul showed us that life is meant to be lived fully with joy, laughter and love. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood. Burial will be held at Rosedale Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, October 17, from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood. An hour of visitation will also be held prior to the service on Friday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
