Patricia Yvonne Deemter

Patricia Yvonne (Hoogeveen) Deemter, age 80, of Jamestown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was a retired office manager after 20 years at Quality Air Heating and Cooling. Her reputation preceded her as a great cook and baker. Pat’s hobbies included bird and animal watching, and reading books. She always enjoyed injecting her “two cents” at many of the Jamestown Township meetings. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig; husband, Richard; and five brothers, William (Arlene), Henry (Phyllis), Kenneth, John and Donald. Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jon Deemter of Allegan, Carla Deemter of Holland; sisters, Lavina Hoogeveen of Grandville, Esther Timmer of Sparta, Marilyn and David Ebels of Hudsonville; sisters-in-law, Carol Hoogeveen, Peg Deemter of Jenison, Gen Van Haitsma of Mottersville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial gathering will be held 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018, in the Depot Room at Patmos Library, 2445 Riley Street, Jamestown Township. Interment at Jamestown Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Patmos Library.
