Patricia Ann DeJong

Patricia Ann DeJong, age 71, of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2018.  She was a devoted wife, a wonderful  and supportive mother, and a very devout Catholic. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Ymen “Hoppy” Peter DeJong; daughter, Catherine Ann DeJong; brothers, Frank Clark and Paul Clark.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Annette (Jonathan) Cole, John (Brandy Haines) DeJong, Jim (Anna) DeJong, Joe DeJong; grandchildren, Brice DeJong, Zachary DeJong, Cody Simunic-DeJong, Psaia DeJong, Logan Savage-DeJong, A’Della-May DeJong; sisters and brothers, Cynthia Clark-Robbins, Bob (Donna) Clark, Mark (Deena) Clark, John (MaryEllen) Clark, Jean (Arvid) Edson, Mary Eileen (JB) Brinks, Caroline (Keith) Chapin, Joan McHale, Fran Jacob; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Ken) Huizen, Valerie (Michael) Murray; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday 11 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Steve Geerling presiding. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming) 4031 Clyde Park SW with a Prayer Vigil at 6pm.
