Orville A. Rummelt

Orville A. “Orv” Rummelt, age 86, of White Cloud, formerly of Jenison, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Orv was a kind and loving dad and grandpa who enjoyed people and conversations. He retired as a truck driver from Central Transport after many years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Rummelt, and his children, Clifford Rummelt, Cheryl Rummelt, and Douglas Rummelt; his siblings, Shirley, Alice, and Joyce. He is survived by his children, Joe and Karen Rummelt, Jeff and Amy Rummelt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Evelyn, Beverly, Betty; several loving extended family members. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Newaygo County Compassion Home. In honor of Orv’s casual personality and spirit, the family requests that friends and family dress casually when attending the visitation.
