Norma Elinor Shira

Norma Shira, age 94, of Wyoming, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 12, 2022. Norma’s grandchildren were the joy of her life. She spent over 40 years teaching Sunday School at Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene. And she was well known for her Christmas cookies every year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jerry and Jamie Shira, Janet and Bill Doezema, and Tom and Cathy Shira; 9 grandchildren: Jozie and Jay, Gracey and Nate, Jesse, Zion, Sam, Danny and Anne, Kaitie, Andrew, and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Paxton, Noah; special family, Verne and Sandi Reed, and their children and families, Nikki and Jason, Todd and Meghan; sisters-in-law: Edith Rector and Donna Rector; brother-in-law, Harrison and Janet Shira. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene, 2545 Clyde Park Ave., Wyoming, with Rev. Ryan Quanstrom officiating. Burial will be held at Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene.
