Murlin “Bunk” Lewis

Murlin A. (Bunk) Lewis, age 81, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brother. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Karen; children, Scott Lewis, Sheryl Cyranoski, Mark Lewis, Tracey (Dan) Thomas; grandchildren, Matthew DeGraaf, Erin (Matthew) Thompson, Weston Cyranoski, Tyler Lachniet; great grandchildren, Wyatt Thompson, Ruby Thompson; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Vicki Lewis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Jeri VanderLaan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Bunk worked for 30 years at Kelvinator and later retired from Arrow Door. He enjoyed outdoor activities and spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, with his nephew, Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association for dementia research.
