Grace Dykstra

Grace Dykstra, age 97, of Grandville, ran into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 6, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joan VanderWilp, Barbara and Richard Dyk, Diane Dykstra, James and Bonnie Dykstra, Elaine and Steven Bossenbroek; grandchildren: Lisa and Eric Gallo, Jay and Melissa VanderWilp, Richard and Ashley Dyk, Jeffrey Dyk, Shawn and Rachel Dyk, Joey Westerling, John Westerling, April and Pete Van Der Kolk, Ashley Dykstra, Brenton and Jasmin Dykstra, Steven and Allison Bossenbroek II, Ciri and Kurt Mingerink, Geoffe and Elizabeth Bossenbroek; 33 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; dear nieces, nephews, and a cousin. Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Richard Dykstra Jr.; son, Richard Dykstra; and siblings. The family would like to express their gratitude to Chaplain Peter James, the staff at Rose Garden, and Faith Hospice for the genuine love and care they gave to Grace. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Chaplain Peter James officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to one’s choosing.
