Miriam Popjes

Miriam Frances Popjes, age 88, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Henry. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Peter Dykstra; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Rita Popjes; and her friend and caregiver, Sharon VerBurg. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Lu Saenz officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grandville-Jenison Congregational Church Seeds of Kindness Fund.
