Mildred “Millie” Mulder

Mildred “Millie” Johanna Mulder, age 94, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ray W. Mulder; son-in-law, Robert Pater; brother-in-law, Bill Mulder; and sister-in-law, Gertrude Mulder. She will be dearly missed by her children, Mary Joy Pater, Ray J. (Dawn) Mulder, Melinda Tompkins, Lee (Heather) Mulder; grandchildren, Kelly (Rob) VanEyk, Christopher (Kristin) Pater, Chad (Gina) Pater, Jason (Holly) Mulder, Lindsay (Matt) Sicilia, Amy (Mike) Baker, Traviss Tompkins, Casey Tompkins, Nicole (Russell) Davis, Dylan (Lindsay) Mulder, Allie Mulder, and Amber Mulder; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was a charter member of 12th Avenue Christian Reformed Church in Jenison. Millie sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and enjoyed volunteer work. She and Ray loved to square dance. Millie taught sewing for 4-H in her home, was a very talented artist, and loved to play the piano.  Millie lovingly took care of Ray for the last 10 years of his life when he suffered with Alzheimer’s. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at Sunset Manor, 725 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor Don Van Slyke officiating.  A private interment will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Sunset Manor. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Potter’s House Christian School.
