Mildred Jean Bomhof

Mildred Jean Bomhof (Boersma), age 91, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 2011, and grandson, Jeddiah DeGroot. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Judith and Alwin DeGroot, Joan and Michael Roosien, Wayne H. Bomhof; grandchildren, Christopher and Angela Roosien, Matthew and Jennifer Roosien, Jenny Roosien, Bryan and Krista DeGroot, Melissa DeGroot, Rebecca and Eric Fogg, Marc and Lisa DeGroot, Zach DeGroot, Brandon DeGroot, Devon DeGroot, Jacob DeGroot, Shawnda Bomhof; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor and Virgil Grubbs, Janet and John Stern; sisters-in-law, Bette Bomhof, Elma Bomhof; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Greg Ten Brink officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to an organization of one’s choice. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Spectrum Health for the love and compassionate care given to Millie.
