Michael Thomas Schramski, age 61, of Wyoming, passed on to eternal life on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 surrounded by family, following a courageous fight with cancer. His family takes comfort knowing that heaven now has the most awesome campsite with the sounds of rock and roll and the sweet aroma of campfire cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Josephine Schramski, and his brother, Brian Schramski. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 36 years, Kathy; his daughters, Andrea and Matthew Sikkema, Erin and Robert Paradis, and Kayla; grandchildren, Miles and Avery Sikkema, Gabriel and Eleanor Paradis; brothers, Dale, Steve and Kim, Ron and Robin, Jim and Rose; sister, Denise and Dale Kozlowski; parents-in-law, Ben and Joan Jaworski; brothers-in-law, Dale and Mary Jaworski, Dennis and Annette Jaworski; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved camping with family, playing cards with friends, cooking, drumming gigs, and hunting. Mike was a faith-filled man who was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Mike Alber officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 4-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming) 4031 Clyde Park SW, with a vigil service at 6:00 pm, and visitation one hour prior to mass on Saturday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods or Port Austin Conservation Club.
