Michael Ross

Michael Brian Ross, age 69, of Plainfield Twp., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Spent his many years working at Grand Rapids Foam Technologies in Grandville. In his younger years he helped out with farming and worked on a horse ranch. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and attending horse shows at Lots of Luck Arena. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Rohloff; brothers, Jeff Ross and Scott Ross; his parents, Pat and Wes Ross; and father-in-law, Gerald Heaton.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Ross; his son, Bryan Ross; six grandchildren: Toby, Thomas, Marty, Nathan, Brianna, Danielle; brothers and sisters, Jerald and Laura Ross, Cherie and Matt Nygren, Cathy and Marcos Gomez, Lisa and Scott Gruchow, Christine Ross; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, August 7 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Humane Society of West Michigan.
