He was preceded in death by his parents, Doug and Hilda Davis; parents-in-law, Fred and Wilma Draisma; sister-in-law, Lynn Morris.

Mike spent much of his life working in skilled trades and maintenance, with a career that spanned manufacturing, construction, and healthcare. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he maintained and repaired complex machinery, building systems, and facilities throughout West Michigan. He was often relied upon for his problem-solving abilities and steady, dependable approach to his work. He took great pride in doing things right and in the quality of the work he provided.

Mike enjoyed going on golf trips with his son, riding his Harley motorcycle, building guitars, watching Michigan football, helping his wife and kids with home projects (he could fix anything!), going on road trips with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. His faith was important to him, and he was a long-time member of Grand Rapids First church. He looked forward to spending eternity with his Heavenly Father.

Mike was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family. The family expresses their deep appreciation to the oncology treatment team at Trinity Health and the care team from Faith Hospice for the loving care provided to Mike and shown to the family.
