Michael Christopher Murphy

Michael Christopher Murphy, age 30, of Caledonia, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He graduated from Caledonia High School (class of 2008) and Davenport University. Michael was known as a good friend to many, but first and foremost, he was a child of God. He was an avid reader and enjoyed movies, board games and time with his friends. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Chris and Robin Murphy; brother, Kevin; grandparents: Larry and Nancy Murphy, Bob and Carol Diefenbaker; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Thornapple Community Church, 3260 Thornapple River Dr. SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Kent Frens and Rev. Tim Dieffenbach officiating. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the Thornapple Community Church Education Fund.
