Merle J. Ten Hoopen

Merle J. Ten Hoopen, age 83 of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, August 30, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, one sister and one brother. Surviving are his children, Dan Ten Hoopen and Judy Vegter, Tamara and Dan Wright; grandchildren, Mark, Brandi, Kaila, Travis, Susan; six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Elaine Buursma, Betty and Henry Hendges; in-laws, June Plummer, Orville (Bud) Vander Hoff, Charles Van Solkema, Dora Ten Hoopen; many nieces and nephews. Merle proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 44^th St. SW, Wyoming, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
