Noah Peters

Noah Peters, born on August 26, 2023, age 3, of Hudsonville, Michigan, is now in the arms of Jesus. He was sent to his heavenly home on the evening of Sunday, September 6, 2026, following a courageous two-year battle with leukemia. 

From an early age Noah beat to his own drum, he was resilient and strong. He loved being outside, whether that be golfing, swimming, golf cart rides to watch tractors and combines or playing on his swing set. Throughout Noah’s two-year battle with leukemia there were many ups and downs. He took on two bone marrow transplants, several rounds of chemotherapy, all of which made him hardly skip a beat. He was an inspiration to everyone around, and lit up every room he went into, whether that be the halls of floor 9 or the doctor’s office. Noah truly had a child-like faith, asking his last morning on earth if we were going to go to church today. 

Noah will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Matt and Kendra Peters; brother, Callahan; grandparents: Linda Faber, Don and Linda (Veurink) Faber, Ernest and Maria (Doolard) Peters; aunts and uncle, Jonathon and Amanda (Faber) Diekevers, and Erika (Peters) Deemter; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Aidan Diekevers; great-grandparents: Arnold and Marian Noorman, Pete and Alice Faber, Cornelis and Pietje Doolard and Neal Peters. 

The Peters family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them on this journey. From the meals and prayers to financial support, acts of kindness, each gift had meant more than words can express. The Peters family has truly witnessed the hands and feet of Jesus at work. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Second Church, 6950 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, 49401 with Pastor Adam Nordyke officiating. Burial will take place at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday, September 11 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at Second Church and on Saturday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to P.O.R.T. (Pediatric Oncology Resource Team) at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital or Shields of Hope-West Michigan.
