Maxine Lois Kayser

Maxine Lois (Clement) Kayser, age 94, of Caledonia, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Maxine loved the Lord and was baptized as a teenager at Fountain Street Baptist Church in Grand Rapids. Her faith was evident in her love for her husband and family. She was a hard worker and lived on a farm. She loved to grow flowers in her garden. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 73 years, Gerald; children: Paul and Gayle Kayser, Kathy and Ed Kosters, Doris A. Kayser and Emil Woerner Sr.; grandchildren: Michael and Becky Kayser, Lori and John Brandow, Brian and Misty Kayser, Eric and Jan Kosters, Rachel and Troy Bowman; 14 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Vern Kayser; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frela and Ruth (Good) Clement, and her brother, Robert and Lorene Clement. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8436 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, with Rev. Dr. Timothy Brand, Rev. David Miller, and Rev. Emil Woerner Sr. officiating. Livestream of the service can be viewed at the church website (https://www.stpaulcaledonia.org/worship.html). Burial will be held at Holy Corners Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
