Matthew Scott Bolton

Matthew Scott Bolton, age 45, of Wyoming, went home to be with his Lord and Savior with his family surrounding him on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVerne and Leona Bowman Sr., David and Ruby Bolton. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, LuAnn and Daniel Haik; father, Raymond and Mary Bolton; daughter, Mikayla Grace Bolton; sister, Amanda and Carlos Vega; stepbrothers, Ryan and Lisa Haik, Matthew Frazee; stepsister, Dawn and Justin Herrema; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Matt was a personal trainer and competed and placed in the Grand Rapids bodybuilding competition in 1995. He loved training with all his friends at Maximus Fitness. Matt was a member of Spirit of Life Lutheran Church in Caledonia, MI, where he enjoyed the fellowship with Pastor Alan Kirschbaum. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Spirit of Life Lutheran Church, 7638 Broadmoor Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316 with Pastor Allen Kirschbaum officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 11-12 am at church with a luncheon and sharing time following immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spirit of Life Lutheran Church.
