MaryAnn Feist

MaryAnn Feist, age 84, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Larry Feist; parents, Henry and Josephine Fortuna; sister, Gloria and Ronald Feist; brothers, Henry Fortuna, Joseph Fortuna; brothers-in-law, Robert Luurtsema and Allan Brown.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laurie Quillan, Debra and Martin Loughin, David and Diane Feist, Brian and Christine Feist; grandchildren, Dakota Brown, Caitlyn and Zach Mundwiler, Emily Feist, Evelyn Feist; great-grandchild, Kona Mundwiler; and sisters-in-law, Mary Fortuna, Marcia Fortuna, Susan Luurtsema, Nancy Brown.

MaryAnn enjoyed road trips with the family to Northern Michigan. She was quite the reader, and had a sweet tooth as well! Weekends were a time for family gatherings at their cottage by Hardy Pond. MaryAnn lived as an example of her faith by praying her Rosary and being a living example of her faith. 

The service will be a private family gathering.
