Mary Lou Guastella

Mary Lou Guastella (Verner), age 86, of Grand Rapids passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Guastella; son, Michael Guastella. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Catherine Guastella; son, Tony Guastella; grandsons, Andrew Guastella, Nicholas Guastella; great granddaughter, Sophia Guastella; sisters, Jackie Ripley, Joyce Garber; sisters-in-law, Carmen Martin, Alma Verner. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 9 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, with Rev. John Vallier officiating. The burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 1 - 2 pm at the funeral home before services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
