Mary Kloosterman

Mary Elizabeth Kloosterman, age 100, of Wyoming, MI, went to be with her Lord and her family on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Mary worked for many years for Howard Miller. She loved to knit and crochet, and she would always complete at least one word search a day. Mary was a beautiful friend who was a shining example to those she met. She always put others ahead of herself and often taught those around her how to overcome life’s troubles and tragedies. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; and her two children, David and Cheri. She will be lovingly remembered by her special friend, Kristine Brayman-VanderTill and family; her extended family members; and her Grand Rapids First Church family. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor John Hanson officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jenison Senior Center. Mary will be missed dearly by all.
