Mary Goretzka

Mary Goretzka, age 97, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Sylvia Bristol; brothers, Walter Trojan, Theodore Trojan. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Catherine Tassell, Patricia and Clifford Reed, Michael Goretzka; grandchildren: Jonathan (Colleen) Kuehl, James (Kristine) Kuehl; great grandchildren: Tyler (Kelly) Kuehl, Alexander Kuehl, Constance Kuehl, Jacob Kuehl; many nieces and nephews. Mary had a devoted faith to the Lord and she was a loving wife and mother. She also enjoyed cooking from scratch, gardening, canning, and crafts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier, celebrant. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
