Mary Francis Zalewski

Mary Francis (Spicuzza) Zalewski, age 89, born January 7, 1935, of Wyoming MI went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024.  Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Charles B. Zalewski, just 9 days before her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Lena Spicuzza, and her son, Steven Joseph Zalewski, granddaughter, Sara Rose Zalewski and grandson, Joey Zalewski. She is survived by sons, Michael (Ruth Ann) Zalewski, Pat Zalewski and girlfriend Wendy Hutchinson; daughters, Barb (Ron) Gallert, Kelli (Mike) Biesbrock; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; sister Ann Zajaczkowski, and sister-in-law Ruth Spicuzza and special friends Ruby Kogler and Veronica Pyle.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 10 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Msgr. Bill Duncan presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, January 9 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, and 1 hour before mass on January 10 at St. Sebastian Church.
