Mary Ellen Thompson

Mary Ellen Thompson, age 74, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, December 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethelyn Krombeen; brothers, Dale and Gordon; sister, Barbara; sister-in-law, Judy Krombeen; brothers-in-law, Edward Hoffer and Greg Wrobleski; dear friend, Kevin Melpolder. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bruce (Wilma) Krombeen; sisters, Karen Hoffer, Sue (Don) Vosburg, Diane Wrobleski; sister-in-law, Shirley Krombeen; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, December 19, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Humane Society of West Michigan.
