Mary Ann Chaffee

The time for making memories has passed, as has the life of Mary Ann Chaffee. The love she had for her children and grandchildren never wavered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Chaffee; father and mother, Peter and Esther Sikkema; mother-in-law, Nell Scholten, and her husband, Henry; brothers, Peter Sikkema, Joe Graham and his wife, Josie; and sister, Florence Nelson and her husband, Clayton; brother-in-law, Larry Chaffee and his wife, Janette. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Hyatt and her children, Kevin and Candis Hyatt; her loving son, Mike Chaffee and daughter-in-law, Pam and their children, Tara Dykesterhouse, Lindsey and her husband Jason Dykhouse, and Angela Randolph; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Mary Ann had many friends including her lifelong friend, Lois and cousin, Jack. Mary Ann was 87 years old. A private memorial service will be held for her family on Saturday, April 16 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Curt Chaffee officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
