Mary Alice Groendyk

  Mary Alice Groendyk, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dave and Debra Groendyk, Chris and Wes Mepyans, Brenda Schmid; grandchildren, Heather and Joel Buck, Mike and Erin Mepyans, Audrey and Sam Day, Emily Groendyk; great grandchildren, Logan Buck, Cassidy Buck, Mason Mepyans, Charlotte Day; sister, Judith and William Mulder; sister-in-law, Ardene Lambers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Adam Barton officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 AM prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at the Christian Rest Home and Sheldon Meadows for the wonderful care they have provided over the years.
