Mary A. Boyer

Mary A. Boyer, age 90, of Jenison, departed on the wings of angels to be reunited with her husband, Jack, of 62 years, on Saturday, July 4, 2020. She is survived by her daughter, Leanne and Greg Schimke; two granddaughters: Jill (Schimke) and Steve Polonchak, Kristina (Schimke) and Kyle Conlon; a niece, Corinne VanHorn; along with many other nieces and nephews. Mary had a long life, and enjoyed being with her granddaughters and watching them grow. Mary enjoyed working professionally most of her life. One of the joys of her life was her potluck gang, they shared their laughter, tears and joys throughout their lives and she has reunited with many of them who have gone before. Mary will always be remembered as being a sharp dresser, along with her sense of humor. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no public visitation or services. Mary will be interred beside her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
