Marvin Jay Vander Bee

Marvin Jay Vander Bee, age 94, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 31, 2020.   He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Christina; and his parents, Adrian and Lorine Vander Bee.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Gary Vander Bee, Kathy Boogaard and fiancé, Dave Lyzenga; grandchildren, Tyler and Kat Boogaard, Jacqui and John Syers, and Matthew and Emily Boogaard; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Sophie, and Adrian; sister-in-law, Florence Potter; brother-in-law, Robert Krol; and many nieces and nephews. Marvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for 44 years with Behler Young, where he was a sheet metal specialist. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. (Note: masks are required; and the service is limited to immediate family and friends only.)  The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
