Marvin Dennnis Reid

Reid, Marvin Dennis REID – Marvin D. Reid, aged 92, passed away at home on Monday, November 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Henrietta Reid; his wives, Eileen and Mary Jane (Mimi); and sister, Mae Closterhouse. Surviving are his sons, Dennis (Beverly) and Brian; grandchildren, Scott (Kari), Cimberly, Colleen (Lanzy), Nathan and Karin; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Drake, Malik, Jace, Kierra, Landon and Cailin; his brother, Howard; sister, Phyllis VanBrug; and many nieces and nephews.  Marvin served in the US Air Force during WWII.  Memorial services for Marvin will be held Friday at 12 noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 47 Jefferson SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 with visitation from 10 – 12 noon.
