Marvin C. Stanford, age 67, of Kentwood passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, and went to be with the Lord. Marvin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Jeannie (Hui Sun); his children, Carl Stanford, Diana and Mike McParlan, Michael and Melissa Stanford; 7 grandchildren, Ashli, Hailey, Joseph, Jacob, Leah, Lucas, Max; 2 great grandchildren, Gaven, Koda; brothers and sisters, Vern Humfleet, Iris Johnson, Jim and Lin Stanford, Ron and Peggy Stanford, Donna and Dennis Brown, Mary and Tim Henderson, Carl and Sandy Stanford, Patty and Herm Beute, Keith and Lynn Stanford. Funeral memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Kirk Wheeler officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries.
