Marva Lee Vander Jagt

Marva Lee Vander Jagt, age 79, of Grandville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vander Jagt; sister, Mae Ring; and brothers, Judd and Rush Ring. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dr. Douglas Robert (Debra Sutter) Vander Jagt, Donald Henry (Teresa) Vander Jagt, Darcy Gay (Gene) Swope; grandchildren, Joshua Vander Jagt, Brandi Meisch, Troy Vander Jagt, Michael Mol, Chief Petty Officer Matthew Robert Mol USN, Zachary Vander Jagt; great grandchildren, Gavin Meisch, Spencer Perkins,  Maya Wabanimkee, Hunter Vander Jagt; Nsayah Vander Jagt, Nolan Huskey, Pascal Mol, Ada Mol; brother and sister, Gayle Andrus, Gary (Melody) Ring; sisters-in-law, Sue Ring, Sandra Ring, Thelma (Rev. Martin) Jensen, Katherine Turner, Margaret Barr; brothers-in-law, Dave Cook, Casey (Linda) Vander Jagt; and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Grand Rapids Junior College with an Associate Degree. Marva worked for Michigan Bell as a telephone operator and eventually retired from Kent County, where she served as judicial secretary at the Juvenile Court. Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Marva’s life at her home, Saturday, May 14, from 3 to 6 PM.
