Martha Velthouse

Martha Wendelina Maria Velthouse (Veen), age 92, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cornelis Veen, and her second husband, William Velthouse, Jr. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Elaine and Chip Schneider, Mike Veen, Cindy Veen, Jerry and Terri Veen; grandchildren, Ted and Jen Schneider, April and Zak Beld, Jenna and Ross TenHarmsel, Kasie and Matt Alt, Erik and Adrienne Veen, Melody and Alex Flanders, Reuben and Lucy Veen; 15 great -grandchildren; brother, Gerard and Ineke Haak; sister-in-law, Lidy Haak; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Unity Reformed Church, 4450 Poinsettia Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Mark Bergsma, officiating. Burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, October 19, from 5 to 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Unity Reformed Church.
