Martha   Smits

Smits, Martha Martha M. Smits, age 96, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frederick Lefers and Peter E. Smits; two daughters, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren; she is the last of her generation of five brothers and seven sisters.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Victor and Sue Lefers, Darwin and Cheryl Lefers, Lowell Lefers; daughters, Mary and Bob Westveer, Joy Smits.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Arthur Besteman officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan.
