Martha N.  Smith

Smith, Martha N. Martha N. Smith, age 101, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garret, in 1982. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Ann (Don) Herring of  New York City and their son, Richard (Elizabeth) Herring; Kathy (Bernie) DeYoung of Hudsonville and their daughters, Deb (Carl) Rozeveld, Laura De Young, Brenda (Ken) Dryfhout; 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jake Hendricks; sisters-in-law, Anne Bouma; special friend, Bob Hirssig; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:00 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. James Molenbeek officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home and Monday one hour prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Christian Nursing Home in memory of Martha.
