Marrietta Christine Struik

Marrietta Christine Struik (Fischer), age 86, of Rockford, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Marrietta was a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who was blessed with a heart to serve others. She cherished her family and friends and fun memories were made over the years. Marrietta had a strong work ethic and retired from General Motors Alpine Plant after over 30 years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Estelle, and Lois “Babe”. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pam and Brian Diephuis, Amy Boyles, Jill and Bill Kuzma, John and Char Grasmeyer, Beth and Jay Bosworth, Jodi Struik; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Sharon Fischer; many loving extended family members and dear friends. At Marrietta’s request, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Edison Christian Assisted Living.
