Mark Edward Vogl

Mark Vogl, age 66, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Elanore Vogl, brother Daniel Vogl, and sister, Madeline (Lynn) Vogl. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Linda; children: Anna (Milton) Copeland, Elizabeth (Eric) Hoonhorst, Emily (Martin) Przekadzinski, Peter Vogl, David Vogl; grandchildren: Mazey, Mackie, Kenzie, Anniah, Anton Copeland, Aubree, Alexi Przekadzinski, Margaux, Stella Hoonhorst; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mark was an active and dedicated member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and was very involved in the Christian Education program, as well as being a member of the choir. Mark had a servant’s heart and thought of others before himself. Even though he suffered from multiple medical issues, there was never a “Pity Party” for him. He enjoyed watching and playing a variety of sports. He taught the kids to play golf at The Pines Golf Course. He was very supportive of and welcoming to his family and friends. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed playing card games like Euchre and Set Back. He also enjoyed bowling and even scored a 300 game. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 pm with a rosary, led by the Knights of Columbus, at 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to Mass at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries.
