Marjorie Veurink

Marjorie Elaine Veurink, age 85, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Holly Veurink.  Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Allen; children, Sheryl and Dave Balicki, Dennis and Marie Veurink, Jan and Gord Snip, Doug and Sandy Veurink, Kathy and Craig Elenbaas, Chris and Jeff Snedeker; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Stephen, Bethany, David, Josh, Elizabeth, Jordan, Alicia, Ryan, Eric, Staci, Adam, Amber, Azandra, Jevan, Jared, Kaelyn, Parker, Taylor, Sidney, Madison, Brendon; many great-grandchildren; brother, Ed VandenAkker, sister, Ruth Dykgraaf, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barb Veurink, Delores Alton, Bob and Gloria Veurink, Joyce and Fred Hoekzema; many extended family and friends. Marjorie was a loving wife and mother and she was known for her beautiful smile.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019, 11 am at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Ave., Hudsonville, 49426, with Pastor Jeff Doll officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, October 16 from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and Thursday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gideons International or Cornerstone URC Mission Fund.
