Marjorie L. Walter

Marjorie L. Walter, age 98, of Byron Center, formerly of Hesperia, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross; two sons, Terry Walter, and Thomas L. Walter; and brother, Dexter Huber.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ronald Ross and Karen Walter; granddaughters, Shannon and Mike McAvoy, Lindsay and Mike Bigney; 4 great granddaughters; extended family and friends.  Spending time with her family was important to Marjorie.  She and Ross traveled to Arizona for 15 years, and she loved to host family and friends for tea and cookies and tend her garden and make quilts.  Marjorie had a deep love for her Lord focusing on daily devotions.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. SE, Caledonia.  Interment Coleman Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice Trillium Woods.
