Marjorie Ellen Roberts

Marjorie Ellen Roberts, aged 86 of Kentwood, went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 12, 2023. She will be lovingly missed by family and friends who are with us and loved by those who have gone ahead. She is survived by her children, Jim Roberts and husband Gary McNeil, Kathy Zito and husband John; grandchildren, Joey Zito, Nicole Heckman and husband Rick; great grandson, Rayden Heckman. Marge grew up in Middleville and graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1955. She worked at Steelcase for 26 years, retiring in 1991. She loved the many years the family spent houseboating at Hardy Dam. In later years she enjoyed playing cards with friends, reading a good mystery, and dog sitting. Her great sense of humor will be remembered forever. Memorial services will be held 12 pm Saturday, June 17 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Relatives and friends may meet the family at 11 am for visitation before services. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Pine Hill Cemetery, 1102 52nd St. SE, Kentwood. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society.
