Marjeanne E. “Marty” Saagman

Marjeanne E. “Marty” Saagman, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Miedema, Ben Miedema, and Ken Miedema.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lynne and Rev. Rick Hopkins of Oshkosh, WI, Keith and Cassie Saagman of Pinckney, MI; grandchildren, Amanda Saagman, Matt and Breanna Saagman, Emily Hopkins and April Schumacher, Betsy Hopkins; sisters-in-law, Fran and Trent Bergman, Elanore Saagman, Donna Saagman, Betsy Dykstra, Norma Miedema; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Dale Fopma officiating.  Interment Washington Park Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor.
