Marilyn Schipper

Marilyn Schipper, age 90, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 11, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy Schipper, Steve Kuiper, Ron and Gracia Schipper; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ken and Jan Poll, Jay Poll; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger Hall, Jim and Char Schipper, Lois and Ed Langerak; nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Schipper; daughter, Deb Kuiper; sister, Ella Hall; sisters-in-law, Darlene Poll, and Carolyn Schipper; and brother-in-law, Paul Schipper. 

Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday, July 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Southwest Protestant Reformed Church, 4875 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville. Family and friends are also invited to attend the committal service at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Grandville Cemetery. Following the burial, a memorial service will be held at Southwest Protestant Reformed Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike DeVries officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunset Manor and Corewell Hospice for their compassionate care of mom, especially in the last few months. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Adams Christian School or Hope Protestant Reformed Christian School.
