Marilyn Overweg

Marilyn Kathleen (Dyke) Overweg, age 92, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Marilyn was a member of Rusk Christian Reformed Church for 73 years and was a dedicated prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and her eight siblings and their spouses. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lonna and Vic Pugh, Keith and Mary Overweg, Glenn and Leanne Overweg, Marcia and Mike VerBeek, Allen and Laurie Overweg, Arlyn and Brenda Overweg, Janice and Ken Prince; 23 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, at 11 a.m. at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave, Allendale, with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating. The burial will be held at Rusk Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, August 18, from 2-5 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Borculo Christian School or Faith Hospice.
