Marilyn Jean Burke

Marilyn Jean Burke, age 83, of Wyoming, went to join her husband on October 17, 2023. Marilyn loved gardening flowers and country music. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She was the last of her generation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; son, Daniel; one sister; two brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tamara and Joe Knight, Peter Burke Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many in-laws; special nephews, Rick and Mary Call, Randy Call, Steve Call; many other nephews and nieces. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Home Acres Reformed Church, 21 Murray St. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Darrell Dalman officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or a hospice of your choice.
