Marilyn Fortier Heibel

Marilyn Fortier Heibel, age 88, of Wyoming, passed away due to accidental injuries on Thursday, January 27, 2022 and went to be with her Lord. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, daily walks, and her church. She was a devoted fan of the Lions and Tigers. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; sons, Jimmy and Larry; great grandson, Shane. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kenneth and Kathleen Heibel, Steve and Deb Heibel, Kathy and Jerry Van Velsen, Dennis Heibel, Kim Heibel, Ted and Sandy Heibel; 25 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Theresa Sullivan, Annette Schmidt; sisters-in-law, Sharon Fortier, Theola Andrews, Donna Ahrens, Pat Cooley, Marilyn Dewey, Lorraine Olejniczak; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1630 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Stephen Dudek, presiding. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming.
