Marilyn De Kleine

Marilyn Jean (Rillema) De Kleine, age 87, of Jenison, was peacefully called home to meet her Savior Jesus on Saturday, April 24, 2021, and is reunited with her son, Jim, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gary Clinton. Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. She loved the outdoors and her flower gardens. Marilyn was blessed with the gift of knitting and crocheting, making many beautiful blankets and slippers, sharing them with family and friends. She retired as a CNA after 32 years of faithful service from the Laurels of Hudsonville, formerly known as Hudsonville Christian Nursing Home. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon and Jim Stevens, Kathy Clinton, Delbert De Kleine, Janice and Keith DeYoung; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren with one soon to arrive; one great-great grandson with one soon to arrive; her brother, Jack and Mary Rillema, Kenny Rillema; and many more nephews, nieces, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 27 at noon at Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St, Jenison with Pastor Don Van Slyke officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10 - 12 prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Words of Hope or to Guiding Light Mission.
