Marie Lutkenhoff

Marie Lutkenhoff (Motolo) passed away into Eternal Life on Friday, September 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter; children, David (Sarah), Deborah (David) Alderink, Douglas (Sandy), Janet (Mark) Smith and Mark (Melinda) Lutkenhoff; her sister, Ida Suprenant; brother, Frank (Jeannine) Motolo; many nieces and nephews.  Marie didn’t want her age revealed but she was old enough to be married for 67 years and enjoyed her 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren with two more on the way.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Michigan for their support. A memorial visitation will be Sunday from 5 - 7:30 pm with a Rosary Service to follow at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1253 52nd St. SE with Father Peter Vu celebrant.  A luncheon to immediately follow the Mass.  Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Little Sisters of the Poor or Hospice of Michigan.
