Marie Elizabeth Timmer

Marie Timmer, age 99, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Jay; an infant son; and great-granddaughter, Grace Dyksterhouse. The Timmers were charter members of Westview Christian Reformed Church. Marie’s life purpose was to be a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and even great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ken and Phyllis Timmer, Mary and Don Dyksterhouse; grandchildren, Jeff and Carolyn Timmer, Lisa and Tim Alles, Andy and Kelly Dyksterhouse, Catherine and Chris Foca, Gary and Kathryn Dyksterhouse, Jimmy and Kate Dyksterhouse; 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rosemary Timmer; several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) with Rev. Pete Byma officiating. Burial Fairplains Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Legacy Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
